It was a dream come true for her. “Georgetown was always one of my top choices,” she recalled. “I’ve always loved Washington, D.C., and politics. I even lived in a Georgetown dorm during my internship in Washington. So, I put together an application in just three weeks, and to my surprise, I got in.”

She graduated from Georgetown in 2002 and passed the Arizona Bar Exam with flying colors, scoring the highest among her peers.
