In October 2019, Clint and Kelly celebrated the five-year anniversary of Harp Design Co. with a heartfelt blog post reflecting on their journey.

They wrote, "As a small business, every bit of support we've received means the world to us. We can't thank you enough for everything we've been able to accomplish because of your encouragement." However, in January 2023, Clint made a surprising announcement: he was closing the physical storefront. "Our little company has grown beyond our wildest dreams," Clint explained, "but now it's time to pivot. With a family of five, running three businesses, and juggling other commitments—like Kelly pursuing her master’s in clinical psychology and me working on a new TV show across the country—it’s clear we’ve reached our limits!"

To mark the end of an era, Clint and Kelly hosted a liquidation sale, giving fans one last chance to take home a piece of Harp Design Co.'s legacy.

Is Clint Harp Still Crafting Furniture Today?

Even though Clint's run on HGTV ended in 2018, he didn’t step away from the spotlight for long. In 2021, Clint launched his own show on Magnolia Network called Restoration Road. This new venture marked a fresh chapter in his career, allowing him to explore his passion for preserving historic buildings across the United States. While the show takes him on exciting adventures, it also showcases a side of Clint that fans may not have seen before.

Although Clint isn’t crafting furniture as frequently as he did during his Fixer Upper days, his love for carpentry remains alive and well. "There are moments when I get to jump back into the shop and create something," Clint revealed to The List in July 2021. "Whether it's building a table, a windmill, or even a water wheel, those moments bring me right back to my comfort zone. But for the most part, Restoration Road is about learning the history behind these massive structures and understanding how they were built. For example, the first episode featured a train car restoration, which was fascinating!"

While Clint’s focus has shifted toward preserving history, his roots in carpentry continue to inspire him. Fans can rest assured that Clint’s passion for creating beautiful, functional pieces hasn’t faded—it’s simply evolved alongside his career.
