In the season 8 finale, Mina supervised renovations on her brother Tad Starsiak’s new Indiana home, which he shares with his fiancée, Anna Spiars. Mina’s mom, Karen E. Laine, also joined in, contributing a special DIY project made from feathers for Tad and Anna’s library.
