The beloved British TV personality, now 69 years old, took to social media to express her deep emotions about the harrowing incident. "Today, my daughter @aro_officialmusic was working in a recording studio in this building with her producer. They are two of the fortunate ones who made it out alive. It's absolutely heartbreaking that a life was lost in this fire today," Sharon shared on Instagram, Thursday, May 19. Her words resonated with fans and followers alike, as she opened up about the tragedy that unfolded.

In her heartfelt post, Sharon went on to emphasize the importance of fire safety regulations. "We're sending our deepest prayers to this person and their family. What happened today was nothing short of horrific. Moving forward, I truly hope that buildings like this will be held to stricter fire safety standards. This wasn't just any building—it was a creative hub for music in Hollywood, a space that should have been safeguarded against such disasters," she explained. "Producers, musicians, mixers, and artists not only lost a life but also all of their equipment in this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the person who lost their life in this senseless fire."

The Fire Department's Swift Response

When the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) arrived on the scene at 5:42 p.m., the situation was dire. According to a news alert released by the LAFD, it took a team of 78 firefighters an intense 51 minutes to extinguish the flames that had engulfed a portion of the two-story concrete industrial building. "Two individuals were treated for respiratory issues related to smoke exposure but declined transport to the hospital. Tragically, one person was found deceased inside the structure during the search operation," the LAFD reported.

"Our firefighters faced an incredibly challenging situation," Los Angeles fire captain Erik Scott told the Los Angeles Times. Despite the harrowing conditions, the LAFD confirmed that no firefighters were injured during the operation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, leaving many questions unanswered for now.

While Aimee hasn't addressed the incident herself due to suffering from smoke exposure, fans have flooded Sharon's post with messages of support and solidarity.
